DESCRIPTION:<p>"The Boys and the Donkey" is the debut shor
 t film by young Tibetan director Tsering Yangjyab. Set in the pastoral reg
 ions of the Tibetan Plateau, it tells the story of four children preparing
  to dress up as Tang Sanzang and his three disciples to embark on a journe
 y to the “Western Paradise.” Told from a child’s perspective, this l
 ive-action short delivers a story that is both humorous and full of innoce
 nce, capturing the purity and imaginative spirit of life in the pastoral h
 ighlands.</p>
<p>The film "One and Four" is adapted from Tibetan writer 
 Jamyang Tsering’s short story of the same name. It tells the story of a 
 forest ranger on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau who, on a stormy night, is unex
 pectedly drawn into a life-or-death confrontation between the forest polic
 e and a group of poachers.</p>
<p>This screening of "The Boys and the Donkey" and "O
 ne and Four" are jointly presented by the 6th fluctoplasma Festival f
 or diversity<br />in Hamburg and the German Association for Asian Ar
 t (Deutscher Verein für Asiatische Kunst e.V.).</p>
